Addis Town Planning has successfully secured a range of planning approvals on behalf of the executors of an estate.
The property was historically a farm so it had a farmhouse, a traditional outbuilding, two parcels of land and a modern agricultural shed. We were instructed to review the overall asset and consider the best approach to maximise its value.
We submitted an outline application for two new builds on land that backs onto the Lake District National Park. The dwellings were approved with no local occupancy restriction.
We submitted an application under Class Q of the General Permitted Development Order 2015 for the modern agricultural shed. A normal planning application would almost certainly have been refused.
We submitted a full application for the conversion of the outbuilding to a dwelling.
We also submitted a householder application to extend the farmhouse into an attached outbuilding.
Each of the four applications were approved giving the clients a tangible asset with a maximised value.
